About
Hi - I’m Pat Fligge, and I’m a career coach. I love helping people navigate the incredibly complex process of career exploration and job searching.
This process can be one of the most stressful experiences a person can go through - and increasingly we find ourselves not just changing jobs but changing career fields.
My goal is to help you approach this complex process with the right mindset and the best tactics so that you can realize your goals. Whether you know exactly what you want next in your career or you’re struggling to determine a new direction, I’m excited to help you clarify and reach your career goals.
I’ve spent most of my career in higher education working in career development roles. I’ve worked with hundreds of people of all different professional interests and experience levels. If you’re looking to learn more about my own career, check out my LinkedIn profile.
A little about me personally: I live in Allentown, PA with my wife Jillian (who works in marketing) and our rescue dog Remmy (who may make cameo appearances on our calls). Cooking good food and running give me life; I love to read, take walks with Remmy and Jillian, spend time with family and friends, and travel.

Why you should trust me:
I’ve worked in the career development space for over 10 years, helping hundreds of people over that time. This space evolves constantly, some parts more quickly than others. I’ve built my skills through intentional professional development trainings and resources, deep conversations with colleagues and experts in this space, and my graduate studies in adult learning and organizational development. You can click below to read what some of my former clients have to say about working with me.
If you’ve read or listened to Brené Brown, this next part will sound familiar to you, as I subscribe to her thinking around vulnerability and trust. We often think that once we trust someone, we can be vulnerable with them. But really, we must first be vulnerable to see if we can trust. I know I’m asking you to be vulnerable about a critically important aspect of your life: your career. I will honor your vulnerability and trust by giving you my very best effort to get you where you want to be in your career.
